Support as Aidan begins another brave battle

To get confirmation that your child has cancer is any parents worst nightmare. For lightning to strike twice and it tragically happen for a second time, just over 12 months later, it’s completely unimaginable.

Just a week after turning 17 years old and 454 days after entering remission, our friend Aidan was given the heartbreaking diagnosis that his cancer had returned.

As Aidan begins his second brave battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma we struggle to find the words to describe just how shattered we are for Aidan, his mum Dianne and siblings Phoebe and Kobe.

As family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, acquaintances, teammates and classmates continue to learn of Aidan’s diagnosis, we all share a common thought of wishing there was something we could do to help out this family, in a time of such trauma.

So we have decided to set this page up with the aim of providing a small gesture of financial support in the hope of eliminating just this one stressor out of this heartbreaking situation that this beautiful family again find themselves in.

We all know Di as a bloody hard worker and a proud mum that does an amazing job as a single parent, raising and financially supporting all 3 of her children on her own. So if we can get some donations together to assist with supporting them and paying the bills, this will at least give Di the flexibility to take time off work so that Aidan will be able to have his mum by his side every step of the way, as he sets out to face 6 more months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

We wish Aidan all the love & strength in the world as he prepares to fight against this horrible disease once again.
