Support Ashanti School for the Deaf in Ghana!

*I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend, Abdul Samed Mohammed Sani who has asked me to assist him with the fundraising. All donations will go to the school directly through Abdul's distribution as he will be visiting his former school during the summer.*

Abdul wrote the following:

I am writing to ask for your support in helping the students at Ashanti School for the Deaf. I am a former elementary school student there, and I understand the importance of providing a safe and comfortable learning environment for all students.

Currently, the school is in need of chairs and tables for the classrooms and dining hall. Without the necessary furniture, the students are unable to receive a proper education and the school is unable to function at the level it needs to.

Any donation that you can make would be greatly appreciated, as it would help to give these students the educational resources they need. Your contribution would make a world of difference in their lives, and it would also allow the school to provide the necessary learning materials for the students.

A look at the inner part of the school's Dining Hall

The dining hall has part of its ceiling pilled off, leaving the roofing wood and iron metals to be exposed in the inner part. Much renovations needed to be done on the ceilings to cover the broken parts

The Dining Hall tables and benches on which the students at the school eat their meals on a daily basis. These tables and benches are old and unattractive to eat on. New tables and benches are needed for the comfort of the students to enjoy their meals on it

The entire view of the dining hall, things got mixed up and much is needed to set things up in the right order

This metal was used to protect the Television which the students used to watch during weekends. The metal is not left empty because the television is faulty and replacing it has become a problem. A new television is needed for the students to watch and have fun on the weekends

A look at the broken, weak, and unfit tables and benches in the dining hall. All these need to be replaced with new ones

Classrooms still have black chalkboards instead of whiteboards. Whiteboards are needed to replace the old chalkboards.

This particular new classroom block has no ceilings. It makes the classroom very hot since the students are exposed to the direct heat of the sun through the iron sheets on the roof. Ceilings are needed to beautify and reduce exposure to excess heat

Some of the desks are broken, leaving very ones in classrooms. Adding new desks to replace the broken ones will be of great help for the academic comfort of the students during lessons
