Support Asha's Education Drive with a Climb
Tax deductible
I have always been passionate about hiking and this year I've taken a goal to take it to the next level by attempting to summit Mount Rainier and Mount Baker, two of the 5 volcanoes in the state of Washington. Its been intense training for the past 15 weeks, for my climb on the 8th of June for Baker and 23rd of June for Rainier. I am doing it in partnership with the non-profit organization Asha. Together, we are raising money to support educating underprivileged children in India.
Please consider donating generously. Any amount no matter how small helps to provide a brighter future for someone in need. All donations are tax-deductible, and the organization is registered with many corporate employers for donation matching programs (Tax Id 770 45 9884). Please visit Asha For Education to learn about some of the work that Asha volunteers do and also encourage you to look at some of the Projects List taken by the Seattle Chapter.
PS: I would like to clarify that the funds being raised here are not financing my climbs in any way. I have provided the finances for the gear and guide services for those myself. All the funds raised will be exclusively used for Asha for Education projects.
Note: If you have priviledge to work for employer who do donation matching, please leverage those benefits and donate through employer portal. That will help raise more money for this good cause.
