The management team at Asheville Adventure Company is asking for help for our employees. Hurricane Helene has dramatically impacted our Asheville, NC community and businesses. Thankfully, all of our Asheville Adventure Company employees and their families are safe and accounted for. At the end of the day, that is what truly matters.
Both our river outpost and bike shop were completely destroyed; it's heartbreaking to see the place we have called home for almost 28 years washed away. Our river outpost has been a place of joy and outdoor recreation for so long. Friendships have been forged, life-long memories have been made, and people have been given the opportunity to experience our beautiful French Broad River. Over the years, our guides have cultivated so many amazing trips for our customers, allowing them to experience Asheville from a perspective very few tourists get to see.
While I am saddened by the loss of our physical locations, I am so happy to hear about the amazing things that our AAC employees are doing to help our community. Some of our people have been working tirelessly to help those affected by this devastation. Our locations may have washed down the river, but we are still here standing strong. While so many of our employees have boots on the ground helping our neighbors, we want to give back to them in any way we can. We are asking for donations to help keep them financially supported during this difficult time. These funds will go directly to our employees and their families. Thank you for your support!
