Support AVL MM Gallery Artists in the RAD After Helene

Hi everyone. Sandra Bottinelli here. Those of you who know me know that I have been an artist for over 30 yrs. I’ve been in Asheville’s beloved River Arts District (RAD) for over 12, housing multiple artists in my previous gallery/studio, whiteSPACE, and my current gallery/studio, Modern Muse. If you haven’t already heard, the effects of hurricane Helene have devastated Asheville and its surrounding areas. My gallery which houses 6 working artists was completely underwater. Most of my work along with all of the work of the other artists have been destroyed or washed away. The good news is the gallery is still standing and I am so thankful for that. It is going to take a huge amount of man power (which we have) and money (which we hope to raise) to get us back and running. This was my livelihood. It was my life an I am heartbroken that most of my work is gone. But I can create again. And oh my the work that’s going to come through is going to shine! I can feel it. I’m asking any and all of you who have followed me throughout the years, have purchased work or not, if you are able to help, myself and my artists would be so grateful.
