Help Hurricane Pet Victims at Asheville Humane Society!

From Napa Valley With Love ... to victims of Hurricane Helene

My name is Courtney Priest & I live in Napa Valley, California. I'm helping to raise funds for The Asheville NC Humane Society

Helene is now the second deadliest hurricane to hit the U.S.mainland in the past 50 years. Survivors of this historic storm urgently need our help.

The Humane Society of Asheville is doing great work to help re-home, foster, feed, care for & find forever homes for animals affected by the recent hurricane. They are a local organization making immediate, community-driven efforts to help animals & families of animals in need.

Napa Valley is no stranger to needing help from devastating natural disasters. Since 2017, 60% of the landcover in Napa County has been touched by fire. And, we've survived multiple devastating & deadly fire incidents since then. 

I've personally experienced a scary, mandatory evacuation and lived out of my car in 2017 as a result of The Atlas Fire. Aside from the apocalyptic and disastrous conditions that autumn, the self-less love and overwhelming support of the community warms my heart to this day. We all truly came together to help one another.

Napa Valley, let's band together and help these communities affected by Hurricane Helene ... we know all too well what they're going through!!

Animals are near and dear to our hearts - we've adopted multiple animals; our current cuties were adopted from the Humane Society of the North Bay & Baja Dog Rescue. We couldn't imagine our lives without our pups ... and, without the tireless work these organizations do every day, not to mention during natural disasters.

There are so many people and animals in need. We consider this fund a place to begin.
