If you're an artist in the United States, you've likely either experienced or heard of the vibrant, soul-stirring community of creators in Asheville’s River Arts District. My name is Chanin Walsh, and visiting 310 Art Studio and many other studios changed my life over 10 years ago. I am heartbroken for this dedicated salt-of-the-earth group of artists. Our collective hearts are shattered by the devastating floods brought by Hurricane Helene, which have ravaged this haven of creativity. This is a moment of unimaginable loss, but also a call to action. We cannot stand by as our fellow artists face this tragedy alone. Now, more than ever, we must come together as a united artistic force and rally behind one of the most inspiring, creative corners of our country. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference. Let’s rise up and show the strength of our community. Please, give what you can. Now is the time to stand with Asheville.
