Support Ashlay's Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
It is with very heavy and saddened hearts that we are announcing the death of our lil Cousin Ashlay Dawn Taskar. She fought a hard battle with stage 4 melanoma cancer until she finally joined our family in heaven. Ashlay was 31 years young and was born with Turner Syndrome. The doctors told us from the start that Ashlay wouldn't be living a full life like most of us. Her Mom was told at a very young age that Ashlay would never be over 5' tall or ever able to have kids of her own. Ashlay also had the mind mentality of a 5th grader but managed to master getting her high school diploma. Ashlay has had to endure countless surgeries, and she loved it when she got to stay all night , if not more, at a hospital just so that she could be pampered and really hated it everytime she had to come home. Ashlay dealt with a lot of seizures throughout her her whole young life. At the age of 16 Ashlay became wheelchair bound because of some issues in her right knee. Her Parents Dan and Shona Taskar, have been there for Ashlay every step of the way. They took her to doctor's appts, surgeries, camping, fishing, grocery shopping and many many more. Since Ashlay passed away her parents poured all of the money they had to cover her cremation costs. But we're here to ask, You, the general public to help with cash to provide housing, food, clothing, gas, and the cost of being out of work due to this. If anyone is out there and are willing it would be great to hear from you. Thank You and God Bless You All.
