Support Ashley Winn: A Dedicated Teacher in Need

At Vamos Chicos, we believe in supporting our own, especially when they've shown unwavering dedication and passion for their work. That's why we're reaching out to you today to support our dear teacher, Ashley Winn.

Ashley's journey with us began a year ago when she joined as a part-time employee. However, her love for teaching art and connecting with children quickly led her to become a full-time art instructor. Despite being the youngest member of our team, Ashley's hard work, organizational skills, and commitment have made her an integral part of our studio. Not only does Ashley teach art classes at Morning Side Elementary, Virginia Highlands Elementary, Springdale Park Elementary and Jackson Elementary, but she also was recently promoted to be our studio manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly in the mornings, from organizing materials to preparing for afternoon classes.

On February 12th, Ashley's world was turned upside down when her parents were involved in a tragic car accident. Unfortunately, her father didn't survive, and her mother is currently fighting for her life in the ICU, having sustained serious injuries, including a small brain bleed. Ashley, being an only child with limited extended family support, is now faced with the daunting task of being by her mother's side during her recovery, which could span weeks or even months, as she’ll be permanently disabled.

While Ashley devotes herself to caring for her mother, she'll be unable to work, adding financial strain to an already emotionally challenging situation. That's why we're reaching out to our community for support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Ashley navigate through these unexpected challenges and expenses.
