Support Ashley's Battle Against Breast Cancer

My little sister Ashley was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast. Next week she will start chemo after having a port-a-cath placed in order to start treatment. She will need to undergo 4 chemotherapy sessions spaced 3 weeks apart, followed by either lumpectomy with radiation or a total mastectomy. After surgery she will need to continue hormone blocking therapy to prevent recurrence of the cancer for a minimum of 5 years.

Her supportive husband Patrick will thankfully be by her side throughout this, but as you can imagine the several months of treatment will be hard on the two of them, especially with the financial hardship of needing to take time off of work as well as the additional out of pocket cost for whatever is not covered by insurance.
