Support Asiah Slone's Memorial Service
Donation protected
Hey, I don’t really know what I’m doing here, but I would like to set up a candlelight balloon let off memorial for Asiah Slone. I wanted to do something for her two boys as well, Mikey and Justice need to have something of their mother that they remember. I don’t know how to go about getting cremations so honestly, any help with this I would greatly appreciate (not sure if I could even have any say so in that matter with legalities). Regardless, I know that it would cost.
Asiah was missing for over two months. She suffered 3 gunshots, two to the head and one to the leg. Asiah did not deserve what happened to her and especially did not deserve to be left the way she was, and it’s unfortunate she has no one to be able to do any kind of service for her. I’m happy we are able to say she is at rest now and not hurting. I pray she gets justice with everyone who was involved in this, I know one man is in custody but they are looking for another or possible multiple others involved. When I met Asiah 12 years ago, she was the best friend I could go to anything about. She would be there at the drop of a dime, as I would be there for her as well. She had such a kind heart, I know she wasn’t truly Asiah within her daily life choices before her passing but she was still a human and at the end of the day meant well. No one in life deserves to be done the way she was.
I'm wanting to raise money to put towards food and decor and the candles and balloons etc. It will cost well over 600 if you know anything about memorials, it’s not cheap.
Planning the memorial for Friday the 13th at 6 pm for the food and for everyone to just get together to celebrate her life. Then do a balloon let off service around 7/7:30 and end with the candle service to say a not goodbye but a see ya later to Asiah.
Even if it’s just 5$, it’s something. Anything that can’t be covered by the GoFundMe, I will personally be paying for along with I’m sure a few of her closer friends to help out.
The memorial service will be held at Armco Park.
