Support Astrid's Family in Wake of Loss

Together with a few Outschool friends of Astrid, I am helping to organize this GoFundMe to support one of our own.

Recently, Astrid lost her husband Sam, a beloved Outschool teacher and dedicated father, following a sudden and severe illness. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Sam's condition worsened rapidly, leading to his untimely passing. This loss is not only emotional but has placed a significant financial burden on Astrid, as they both have had to cancel classes unexpectedly. Those of us organizing this GoFundMe are hoping to relieve some of that financial strain on Astrid and her family.

Sam's legacy as a remarkable educator, mentor, and father endures. Sam made contributions to the Outschool community, especially in gaming education. While Outschool has already closed Sam's account in respect to his memory, preventing us from sharing his fantastic reviews, we know many learners will continue to hold the memories of the impact Coach Sam had on them.

In these trying times, we humbly ask for your support to help Astrid and her family navigate through this period of financial uncertainty. Any contribution, big or small, will be immensely appreciated and will go a long way in offering some relief to Astrid and their children.
