Support Atdom's Second Chance

Donation protected
After a rare grant of Executive Clemency, Atdom Patsalis, who was sentenced to 292 Years, has a chance to re-build his life.

In 2013, Atdom was 21-years-old, struggling with substance abuse, and found himself homeless in Bullhead City, Arizona. In order to survive on the streets, Atdom committed various non-violent property crimes over a three-month period between November 2013-January 2014 . Atdom turned himself in, told police where to find some of the stolen items.

Atdom was charged, convicted and sentenced to an incomprehensible amount of time, totaling 292 Years in prison.

Since 2014, Atdom has turned his life around. While incarcerated, he has focused on remaining drug free, educating himself, developing a work ethic, participating in ADC programming, maintaining his physical fitness, and pursuing his creativity with book writing, song writing, and developing inventions.

With the assistance of the nonprofit Arizona Justice Project, Atdom has been litigating his case in court for the past 6 years - arguing an 8th amendment violation of cruel and unusual punishment. Despite losing at all stages of court proceedings, Atdom now has a chance at release thanks to a rare recommendation of Executive Clemency by the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency. After spending 10 1/2 years in prison, Atdom will have a second chance at re-building his life. All funds will go directly towards helping Atdom get back on his feet with rent, utilities, groceries, and other basic necessities.
