We are grateful for the Small Business Relief Initiative: In this effort, GoFundMe, Yelp, and Intuit Quickbooks are partnering and will contribute an additional $500 to any small business campaign, impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, that can raise $500. #SmallBusinessRelief
The money raised will be used to pay freelance creators; we have $10,131.12 in upcoming, unpaid bills to pay authors, artists, editors, and sensitivity readers, including many in marginalized communities, and our sales and income, many relying on in-person interaction, are severely limited. This number only includes payments to independent creators, and does not include our other business and living expenses.
We know there are many places needing your help right now, so we appreciate your consideration. We believe in art. We believe in storytelling. We believe in the power of the written word. And we believe in community.
