Support Auggie’s Road to Recovery

Hello to the people who know or understand the love we all have for the children in our lives. Kellen and Tessa need our help to make sure August can live, love and laugh as close to normal as possible!!!!

I am starting this for Kellen and Tessa to be able to continue to give their unconditional love and support for his son August (Auggie).

He was significantly injured in a car accident and is getting around the clock help with a great support system. Any help is much appreciated at this time.

Auggie was born on January 1st, 2021 and has not stopped loving dinosaurs since. He loves to talk about his family (but mostly dinosaurs). He genuinely knows more about dinosaurs than you do (most likely). He is so smart, so kind, and has always been one of those kids who will make you laugh no matter how you’re feeling.

He received surgery, and has been paralyzed since the accident; however, August spent over a month at Chicago Shirley Ryan Ability Lab since and has been working really hard to make any improvements on his long road to recovery .

We still do not know which way that road is headed, but we do know it will not be easy.

We ask of anyone able or willing to help them travel this road.
