Support Aunt Kate After Tragic House Fire
Donation protected
Catherine Walton, whom friends and family know as Aunt Kate (age 86), has suffered a great loss on the Sunday morning after Thanksgiving. She has lost her husband, Uncle Jim aka Jimmie Walton (age 72), their daughter, Punkin aka Tanya Walton (age 28), and their entire home to a house fire.
At 3 am Sunday morning, their house caught on fire caused by their space heater. They were initially able to escape, but Punkin realized she'd left her 2 dogs behind in the house. As she returned inside to retrieve them, Uncle Jim followed her inside to help her escape. Unfortunately, they were unable to escape out of the house in time before it collapsed.
Aunt Kate's family, home, and personal belongings have all been taken from her. To know all of them is to love them. They have always been willing to take people in and help others in need. They've been so good to so many of us, the least we could do is wrap our arms around the angel that was left behind.
Aunt Kate will appreciate any donation, big or small. This is aimed to help cover her medication, funeral expenses, and to help her rebuild her life. We would like to have it delivered to her no later than on Christmas. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
