Support Austin's Battle Against Lymphoma
Donation protected
Today is November 10th, 2024. As I write this from a waiting room at Cleveland Clinic, I struggle to describe one of the most kind and generous people on the planet. Generous with his time. Generous with his gifts and talents. Generous with his positive, uplifting disposition, which has not wavered in the midst of this chaos.
He has been diagnosed with aggressive Type-B Lymphoma and begins chemotherapy tomorrow, November 11th, 2024. Eventually, this treatment will be outpatient, so he will be able to come home and be treated there. It will consist of 6 3-week rounds (about 5 months). Austin and his wife Kacie are currently full-time students enrolled in St. Mary’s School of Nursing and are going to have to augment their education to allow for his treatment. They are also very active in ministry as worship leaders at Christ Temple Church in Huntington.
We are not sure what the future holds, but we know Who holds it. He is not in short supply of grace and mercy. He is no respecter of persons. What we have seen Him do for others, we will see Him do in Austin’s body. His perfect love casts out all our fears.
I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love that we have already seen. It has been amazing! There has been no shortage of visitors at the hospital these past couple of weeks, so much so, we were blessed with a private room to fit everyone. This GoFundMe is mainly established to help with medical and living expenses up to this point and for his continued chemotherapy treatment over the next five months. Thank you to anyone that has been able to give, visit, or assist in any way. Most importantly, thank you to all who have prayed and are continuing to pray.
