Support Autism Awareness with AttachAvi

Hello! My name is Jithya Rudraraju, and I am a dedicated volunteer with AttachAvi Autism Foundation. I help plan and organize events and fundraisers aimed at raising awareness for autism. My journey with the foundation has opened my eyes to the unique strengths and challenges faced by individuals on the autism spectrum. I’ve had the privilege of participating in multiple community events that celebrate diversity and promote understanding. These experiences have fueled my passion for creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Through my volunteering, I’ve learned the importance of empathy, patience, and the unique strengths that each individual possesses. I believe that by coming together as a community, we can create a more inclusive world for those with autism.

I am raising funds for AttachAvi Autism Foundation to support our ongoing efforts in providing resources, programs, and support for individuals with autism. Your contributions will help us continue our mission of promoting awareness, acceptance, and access to vital services for those affected by autism. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

AttachAvi Autism Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to autism awareness and providing children on the autism spectrum with a safe, inclusive platform to celebrate life. Unfortunately, many individuals with autism and their families face societal stigma and isolation, which often limits their opportunities to participate in joyful and social events. In 2012, Anita Sharma, the founder of AttachAvi and a mother of two young adults on the autism spectrum, began this journey to address the lack of inclusive platforms for families like ours. Her goal was to create opportunities where children with autism can showcase their talents and simply enjoy the celebrations that everyone deserves. Over the years, AttachAvi has organized unique events, including the "We've Got Talent Too" Fashion Show, where children with autism take center stage to display their talents. We also host annual celebrations such as holiday parties, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving dinners, and Diwali parties, allowing families to gather in a supportive, stigma-free environment.
