Support Ava after the sudden Loss of her dad

After the sudden unexpected loss of Matthew Morton, we’re creating this GoFundMe for his 17 year old daughter, Ava. Matt had a giant heart that he shared with everyone that was fortunate enough to know him in his short 49 years. He was a huge part of the community and was Ava’s sole caretaker for the past 4 years. All money raised will be going towards the utilities, mortgage, and heating of Ava’s childhood home, as well as any college expenses and any other things that may need to be taken care of. Ava comes from an extremely small family and we’re doing everything we can to help her. Ava was the Valedictorian of her graduating class from Prospect Mountain High School in 2023 and plans to attend the University Of New England in Maine to study Marine Biology and environmental studies. She is a loving gentle friend with compassion for others that comes out in everything she pursues. Ava was left with a beautiful little home in Alton and their family dog Nellie. There are many projects started within the house that never got finished that will need to be done to ensure income for Ava to be able to keep the house. Ava is surrounded and supported by her friend group of 4 years and her dad's best friends to help with this process.
