This is Julie Rinehart and Laura Leeper, Ava Chu’s aunts.
We are incredibly devastated to share the news of the passing of our beautiful niece, Ava Haley Chu.
We are reaching out on behalf of her parents, Beth and Enming Chu, and her sisters Kelly and Kaylan.
Ava passed on Friday, July 26th in a tragic motorcycle accident, just 15 days after her 17th birthday. She unselfishly made donations of her body that will go towards helping two pediatric patients.
Her parents, sisters, family and friends are devastated and in complete shock knowing that they will never see her smile or hear her voice again.
We are reaching out to help raise money to support the Chu family during this incredibly challenging time.
All funds will go towards the following:
- To help hold a celebration of life ceremony and services
- To follow Ava’s wish for her remains to be used to grow a new tree
- Essential living expenses to help the Chu family navigate this loss and time off of work
Every donation, regardless of amount, will help the Chu family with some of their financial burden while they grieve.
