Support Ava Ridings' Medical Internship in Kenya

Hi everyone! My name is Ava Ridings and I have an amazing opportunity to travel to Limuru, Kenya, to participate in a medical internship that will allow me to assist in hospitals and clinics facing resource shortages. This experience will provide hands-on exposure to various departments, including obstetrics, gynecology, ICU, HIV/AIDS care, emergency medicine, radiology, and more.

Beyond hospital work, I’ll also be supporting a local maternity hospital, working alongside medical professionals who navigate healthcare with limited resources and alternative medicine. Additionally, I’ll be visiting patients in their homes for weekly check-ups and volunteering with a local girls’ group—helping with homework and even refreshing their school with a fresh coat of paint.
