Support Ava to get the therapy to change her life

Hi, my name is Cerian. I completed the Slateman Triathlon in June 2023 and raised money for Ava to complete a round of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy.

Ava is often presented with physical challenges with little time to prepare. However, she is constantly pushing and achieving with each new challenge.

As such, we have entered one of the countries most gruelling events with only a few weeks notice.

Ava will be cheering on from home (as the event is expected to last over 8 hours) and the team will be channeling her grit and determination for the grind up Scarfel Pike.

Born with having had a perinatal stroke, Ava now battles with left sided hemiplegic spastic cerebral palsy. She is working hard every day to improve her mobility and her life.

In June 2022 I watched her through a round of constraint induced movement therapy (CIMT). This is a specialist form of rehabilitation of the arm involving restraining the stronger arm in a lightweight cast and provoking movement in the weaker arm. She made amazing progress but the battle continues for this little girl.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards another round of this therapy for Ava. Help Ava achieve her mobility goals, improve her independence and change her life forever.
