Support Ava's Brave Battle Against Leukemia

January 29, 2024, is a day my best friend Aimee and her family will never forget—the day her sweet 3-year-old daughter, Ava, was diagnosed with B-cell ALL leukemia. Since then, their lives, including Ava’s siblings, have been turned upside down with hospital stays, planned and unplanned admissions, emergency room visits, infusions, and clinic appointments. Altogether, Ava has spent roughly four months living in the hospital. And through it all, she has shown more strength and resilience than most adults ever will.

Despite everything, Ava wakes up each day with a smile on her face and a spirit that refuses to be broken. It’s easy to forget all she’s been through when you’re with her—she’s full of life, laughter, and so much love.

Ava is now in the maintenance phase of her treatment, which is less intense but still means daily chemotherapy until May 8, 2026. Her fight isn’t over, and the road ahead is long.

I’m reaching out to rally around Ava and her family as they push through these next 15 months. Between medical expenses, time away from work, and the everyday costs of keeping a household running, the financial burden is heavy. My hope is that we can come together to help ease some of that stress—so Aimee and her family can focus on what truly matters: being together, staying strong, and getting Ava across the finish line.
