Third update: The monster responsible for this senseless tragedy has admitted to shaking Caroline for over 20 seconds bc she didn’t want to get out of the bathtub. May he rot in hell. Hearing is set for September of this year. May justice be served swiftly.

Second update: the man who is (allegedly) responsible for Caroline’s death has been arrested and charged with murder, battery and neglect of a dependent resulting in death. #JusticeForCaroline

Update: unfortunately Caroline’s little body had been through too much, and she passed away. Our family is devastated. We now transition to holding her mother, father and family in love and grace, and help to raise funds for Caroline. Thank you all for your prayers.

My name is Misty and I’m asking for help for a reason no one should ever have to. My niece Courtney is experiencing every parent’s worst nightmare: her daughter, baby Caroline, is in intensive care fighting for her life. Caroline has had surgery to relieve the increased cranial pressure in her brain after a stroke and brain bleed. They have removed her skull to decrease the pressure, but it has not gone down. She is fighting for her life. However, we are still waiting and hoping and praying for a miracle for our little girl.

Caroline remains in the hospital. Our family does not know what will happen in the future, but we know that there will be expensive costs. If Caroline survives, she will need intensive long-term care. Caroline needs all the support and help that you can give, as every dollar will count right now and make it easier for Courtney to stay at Caroline’s side.
