Support Baby Mayla's Journey to Recovery

Yesterday baby Mayla made her way into this world but on her way, she got stuck and they had to help her out. Shortly after, she was given CPR and within a few minutes was finally able to take her first breath.

Kathy and Mayla were heart flighted to KMC where they decided Mayla will need some extra help.

Kathy is doing well physically and was able to be discharged but Mayla will be in the NICU for a while.

Mayla is currently on a cooling mat to help her brain heal slowly. After 72 hours on the mat, she will be reassessed and we will know more.

For right now Micheal and Kathy are staying at the Ronald McDonald house so they can be close to Mayla.

Micheal will be taking off more work than planned and while they are focusing on Mayla, I don’t want them to worry about how they will be paying the bills so I wanted to start this Gofundme to help relieve that stress and make sure they can fully focus on their family.
