Support Baby Michael Elliott LeBlanc

Donation protected
This fundraiser is for the benefit of baby Michael Elliott LeBlanc, who suffers from a rare type of AML (Acute myeloid leukemia) cancer. Please consider donating to help his parents, Nicholas and Sophia LeBlanc with household bills and expenses, as neither of them are able to currently work full-time while they focus on helping and spending time with their sweet baby boy. If you would rather donate to help support them through a different method than gofundme, there are other options to donate to them located at the bottom of this message. Most importantly, please help support them with your prayers for baby Michael, as well as by sharing his story through updates on the Facebook or CaringBridge site links (posted below) and/or by sharing this gofundme link. Here is more about their story:

This site is being set up to help support baby Michael Elliott LeBlanc and his parents, to share prayer requests and updates for him, as well as provide a way to share donations for him (for those who feel called to and are able).

Here is his story:

After years of infertility and loss, the Lord blessed my friends Sophia and Nicholas LeBlanc with a miracle pregnancy. When baby Michael was born, he came with blue marks all over his body and was taken to the NICU for testing. After a week of waiting for results, the doctor’s confirmed the marks were a sign of Leukemia - specifically AML. This occurrence in newborns is less than 1%. On July 4th, 2022 they packed up and rode to Memphis TN to St. Jude Hospital so that Michael could be further tested and initiate chemotherapy. Unfortunately, they found Leukemia cells in his bone marrow. After undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, Michael’s cancer went into remission for a mere two months before it unfortunately relapsed a few days before his 1st birthday. And because his specific type of rare AML has never been seen before, the experts are stumped as to exactly what the best course of treatment is for him. Currently baby Michael is at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, being treated with further chemotherapy at the St. Jude affiliate located there. Please, please pray that God will heal this sweet baby boy and let him remain in good health for the rest of his life! Please also consider donating to this sweet family to help them cover household and everyday life expenses. Due to baby Michael’s medical condition, neither Nicholas nor Sophia are able to work full-time right now. Your prayers and your donations will go a long way in helping to support them and most especially baby Michael during this difficult time. God bless you all!
