Help support our sweet little Riots HLH journey
Donation protected
On 8/9/24 a Riot was born. Happy and healthy. On 10/4/24 she got very sick and we nearly lost her during the diagnosis process. She has Primary Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a very rare genetic disease that is fatal if untreated. The only solution is a successful bone marrow transplant which she received on 2/20/25 from a gracious donor in Germany. She’s had to endure months of immunosuppressant drugs, long hospital stays, and chemo therapy in her short little life, and we still have a long road ahead. The transplant recovery process is monitored very closely for 100 days, some of which she will remain hospitalized for depending on how well her body receives the cells.
She is currently intubated, under sedation, and on continuous dialysis while her body tries to catch up. Mom quit her job to be with Riot 24/7, so this has become a single income journey. We are so grateful for all the support from everyone, you have helped carry us through one of the most traumatic experiences we have ever faced and for that we can’t thank everyone enough. If you’d like to help support Riots HLH journey we are also accepting donations at
