Support Backwoods Crossing's Flood Recovery

Hello to our amazing Tallahassee family!

As many of you are already aware, Backwoods Crossing and it's beautiful farm have taken a BEATING due to the extreme flooding from the storm this past week. The water's of Cross Creek have still not receded and might not until next week. It's hard to even assess the full extent of the damage right now, but it's going to take an army of helpers along with substantial funding to restore its beauty.

Flood insurance only covers physical damage; AC units, floors, or anything building related. To our understanding, the building is fine BUT there is no coverage for loss of revenue, employee salaries, mortgage, food spoilage, farm expenses, etc.

We hadn't even consider starting a GoFundMe but dozens of people insisted they wanted to help.

Once the water recede we will also coordinate a volunteer day at the farm to clean up and restore.
