Help Bailey Through Cancer Treatment!

Hello Community!

This GoFundMe is to support our beloved Bailey during their cancer treatment and recovery.

This spring, Bailey was diagnosed with a rare cancer after several years of misdiagnoses for a persistent and growing bump on their leg.

During May, they have been undergoing daily radiation treatment, and in the beginning of July they will have surgery to remove the tumor and graft skin over the affected area.

Their recovery from surgery is going to be long--three months at the minimum before they can be active and six months to full recovery. Because all of Bailey's work involves standing and movement, they will be unable to earn income for a significant amount of their recovery period. In addition, they have already had to miss many work shifts to go to doctors appointments and radiation treatment every day during May.

We are calling on community to support our dear friend during this physically and emotionally challenging time! Bailey is so strong, and even stronger with the support of this community!

Money donated will help cover Bailey's rent, living expenses, care costs not covered by insurance, and gas and car and hotel costs for travelling to treatment in Rochester. Additionally, we are hoping to raise additional funds so Bailey can pursue their dream of getting a personal training certificate during this time.
