We’re thrilled to announce that BANANE is expanding from offering our beloved prepackaged plantain chips to launching a full cooked foods menu featuring plant-based, organic, and Haitian dishes. Our new menu will be available on Uber Eats and DoorDash starting July 15th 2024.

Our Evolution:

BANANE began with a focus on our popular prepackaged plantain chips, and thanks to your support, we’re now ready to transition to a ghost kitchen, serving a variety of delicious, freshly cooked meals inspired by Haitian cuisine.

What We Need:

To successfully kick off our new cooked foods menu, we need your help to cover the following startup costs:

• Security Deposit: To secure our shared kitchen space.

• Storage: For dry, cold, and frozen ingredients.

• Facility Rental: We plan to use the shared kitchen for 20 hours a week at $30 per hour.

• Utensils & Equipment: We need to provide our own pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.

• Packaging: Takeaway boxes, napkins, cups, bags, and utensils.

• Marketing: To enhance our visibility on platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats, which take a higher percentage for businesses seeking premium placement.

$50: $5 donated to our sister organization, Grown in Haiti.

$100: A free full plant-based meal donated to a houseless LA resident.

$500: We’ll sponsor a student program of 25 or fewer with free chips in your honor.
