Support Barbara Hausler's Cremation Costs

Unfortunately, my mother, Barbara, passed away on 3/2/2025 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones and loyal puppy dog, Muffin.
She fought a long, hard road with COPD and cancer. She was admitted to the hospital twice and intubated, where I was told both times she wouldn’t make it, but by her pure love for me and her family and a miracle, she was able to come home to us each time.
We had recently learned she was in remission from her cancer, and though her breathing was still suffering from end-stage COPD, we were optimistic about having her with us for quite a bit longer. Unfortunately, a few months later, we received the news her lung cancer had come back and was rapidly spreading. Due to her end-stage COPD, her lung functionality was only 20-25%, so with both cancer and COPD working against her, she eventually lost her fight.
Her wishes were to be cremated like her parents and for me to bring all three of them back to Illinois, where we have family plots, and I completely intend to honor those wishes.
As you all know, with death comes costs. I have to take an extensive leave from work to take care of everything as she left a lot to be done. All of this is falling on my shoulders, and I’m unsure how I am going to afford to pay off this cremation. Please do not feel obligated to donate. Anything is greatly appreciated and will directly be used to cover her cremation costs.
