Support Barbara, Sheila, and Evan After Fire
Donation protected
Our dear friends Barbara Hament, Sheila Moore, and their son Evan have suffered an unimaginable loss. Their cozy home in the Pacific Palisades, a place filled with cherished memories and peace, was destroyed in the recent fire.
Barbara and Sheila have dedicated their lives to helping others as social workers, providing care, compassion, and support to countless individuals over their 30+ year careers. They are the kindest, most selfless people, always putting others first.
Thankfully, they were able to escape the fire safely, but with only moments to grab a few basic essentials. Everything else — their belongings, their sanctuary, their cherished family possessions are only memories now.
Despite their hesitance to ask for help, this is our chance as a community to show them the same love and support they’ve so generously given to others.
We are asking for your help to support Barbara, Sheila, and Evan as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives and their home. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. Gift cards are also a thoughtful way to help if you prefer.
Let’s come together to show this incredible family that they are not alone during this challenging time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
