Support Batton Family After Devastating Accident
Donation protected
On March 29th, Travis Batton, a devoted husband and father of two, was involved in a devastating vehicle accident while working for his business, Affordable Pressure Washing in Aiken, SC. While pulling a 20-foot pressure washing trailer, his F-250 work truck was rear-ended by another vehicle whose driver allegedly suffered a medical emergency. The accident caused his truck to collide with a tree, ripping off the driver’s side truck doors and exposing the left half of Travis's body to blunt-force trauma and lacerations by metal, foliage, and the tree impact. Because the trailer was rear-ended and the truck was impacted on the side, the airbags did not deploy.
Travis suffered multiple bone breaks and fractures, a degloving injury on his left calf, and a dislocated ankle that was only held together by connective tissue. If it weren’t for the fast action of law enforcement applying a tourniquet, he could have lost his leg or worse. He has undergone a total of 14 hours of surgeries to date. He has been in ICU monitoring blood clots and blood pressure. Travis's recovery will be a long and difficult journey, requiring ongoing medical attention and rehabilitation.
As the sole provider for his family, this accident puts a significant financial strain on Travis, his wife Camille, and their two young children. Not only does this impact their personal finances, but it also threatens the operation of the business, especially during the busiest time of year.
We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to support Travis and his family during this challenging time. Your donations will alleviate some of the financial burdens they are facing, allowing them to focus on Travis's recovery and ensuring that Affordable Pressure Washing can continue to operate.
Travis is a dedicated and hardworking member of the community, and we hope that with your help, we can give him and his family the support they need during this difficult time. Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
