Support Bayport Firefighter Jason Feinberg

Jason Feinberg has served with the Bayport Fire Department since July of 1990. He has always stuck his hand out to help others when called upon, now its time for us to pay it forward! Jason has served as Captain of Bayport FD Engine company 1, and is currently serving as Captain of the Bayport FD Water Rescue squad. He also finds time to serve on our annual Big Bucks fundraiser Committee and recruitment committee. Recently after a visit with his doctor Jason's life changed. For weeks he felt he was suffering from stubborn post nasal drip. After failed attempts at home remedies he visited the doctor. He was told he had a mass in his throat and they believed it may be cancer. After days of doctors appointments and testing the worst case scenario had been confirmed. On March 19th, 2019, he was diagnosed with "Squamous Cell Carcinoma", cancer of the throat and tonsils which is blocking over 70% of his airway. doctors told him he would require surgery and months of treatment 7 days a week post op.  Jason, having ran multiple Long Island Luxury Magazines and been the host of the talk show "Spotlight TV" will be out of work while his medical bills pile up with a very limited income. Although he remains in a positive light, our brother has a long road ahead to recovery. We are asking for this so small but yet so large brotherhood to come together as we always have to support one of our own. Thank you all in advance!
