Support BC Tigers U17: Road to 2024 Nationals!

Nine years ago, the Surrey BC Tigers Boys under 17 team embarked on their journey with a dream and a determination to excel in the game of soccer. This team, composed of talented athletes coming from diverse ethnicities, have overcome numerous challenges to become a symbol of hope and perseverance within their community. Their hard work culminated in winning the Provincial A Cup in 2023 and again in 2024, proving their tenacity and consistency on the field. Now, the BC Tigers have achieved a significant milestone by qualifying for the Under 17 Team 2024 TOYOTA NATIONAL SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP and representing British Columbia (BC) in Sydney, Nova Scotia from October 9 - 14.

Under the exceptional leadership of their manager, Swarnjit Grewal, who has guided the team for nearly a decade, the BC Tigers have developed into a cohesive and formidable unit. All players including Angad Gill, Gursehaj Sandhu, Humaid Abbasi, Sahej Hayer, Joshua Masilya (captain), Andrew Sarkodie, Justin Mann, Jagjot Bathal, Alejandro Carrilo, Navjot Gill, Shivnesh Pillay, Pritish Bagga, Jaiten Grewal, Aman Nagra, Alessandro Campanile, Verdhaan Sidhu, Aryan Madani, Armaan Cheema and Bhavanveer Sekhon have exemplified dedication and teamwork, contributing to the team's remarkable success. Swarnjit’s mentorship has instilled a culture of discipline and resilience, empowering each player to reach their full potential. Coach Patrick Adamczewski has also been a valuable asset to the team, guiding them with strategic insights and fostering a competitive spirit that has been crucial in their journey to the championship.

As the Surrey BC Tigers Boys Under 17 team prepares to represent British Columbia on the national stage, they face the critical challenge of securing the necessary funds to support their journey. Community support is essential to cover travel, accommodation, and training expenses for the national championship. Contributions from community leaders and members will enable these athletes to focus on their performance and represent BC without financial burdens.
