Support Bearwaters: Rebuild a Community Gem

Donation protected
On the morning of September 27th Bearwaters Brewing Company, like countless other businesses and homes in Canton, N.C., was devastated by Hurricane Helene flood waters. The force and rage of heavy, mud filled water completely engulfed the basement and main level of Bearwaters primary Brew location, breaking through the windows and destroying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of brew and kitchen equipment, dining room furniture, merchandise, office supplies, and completely washing away the entire outdoor patio and beautifully landscaped property. This is the SECOND flood in 3 years that Bearwaters will have to find a way to rebuild and recover from! We need YOUR help!
My name is Kerrie Wharton and my Brother, Kevin Sandefur, started Bearwaters Brewing Company over 12 years ago with the goal of building a local business that would supply the community with a safe, fun, charitable driven place that people of all ages could enjoy. Bearwaters’ Canton location was renovated and restored with my Brothers own two hands twice now… first upon opening the business and three years ago after a Tropical Storm caused the Pigeon River to rise and completely flood the historical building causing devastating damage. Now, with the widespread flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, Bearwaters Canton location is facing catastrophic damage. Kevin and his loyal crew of Bearwaters employees simply WILL NOT be able to rebuild from a SECOND flood in 3 years without HELP.
Bearwaters Brewing Company is a very important and valued fixture in the Haywood County Community. They have hosted and participated in countless events that revolve around supporting and helping businesses and citizens of Haywood County and the surrounding areas. Now, it is time to give back to a local business that has given so much. PLEASE, donate anything you are able… every single dollar means HOPE for the future of this extremely important business and to the economy and future of Haywood County. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for honoring my Brothers dedication, sacrifice, passion, and commitment to being an incredible and responsible small business owner, entrepreneur, and devoted member of the community via your donation. LONG LIVE BEARWATERS!!!
