Support the Bracamontes' Loss to Cancer

Will you consider helping my beautiful brave niece, Beatriz Bracamontes, her dad, mom, and 4 siblings? Here's Betty’s story. Betty began having dizzy spells, chest pain, and shortness of breath back in June which led her to be taken to the ER in Lone Tree, Colorado. They performed a CT scan, gave her pain medicine, and sent her home to await her results. On the CT scan, a large lung tumor the size of a baseball was detected, and she was immediately directed to see an oncologist. More exams were quickly ordered and while waiting for the results of what type of tumor she was dealing with she ended up passing out and being hospitalized again on July 9. Then the medical team quickly reported her condition as an extremely aggressive rare form of cancer at stage 4. This new report showed her cancer had spread with over 10 smaller tumors in her brain. Oncologists immediately performed a delicate series of radiation therapy for the next 3 weeks to shrink all the tumors both in her brain and lungs, leaving her weak and her family devastated, who quickly went to her side, as they reside in Phoenix, Arizona. For my brother-in-law, Jose, and his wife, Angelica, it has been extremely difficult to travel between their home in Arizona and Betty’s treatment location at Sky Ridge Hospital, which is again in Colorado.

Betty the eldest of her siblings, is 26 years old, and moved to Colorado with her partner over a year ago, never imagining they would be facing weeks of aggressive chemo and radiation these last couple of weeks.

Despite their immense courage and the best efforts of their medical team, Jose and Angelica received a phone call last night that they must return to Colorado as their daughter's cancer continues to spread.

My niece Betty and my brother-in-law's family need funds. The financial burden of this illness is overwhelming, and your contribution can provide much-needed relief and hope. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support Beatriz and her family in accessing the care they need and easing their journey during this challenging time. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity. As the doctor warned them, the non-hospital expenses such as travel, lost wages and many other factors will add up to a huge financial burden.
