Support Bella's Journey: Accessible Van Fund

Dear friends and supporters,

Meet Bella, the unstoppable girl who's always on the move, soaking in every moment and living her best life. This does not come easy as she faces many obstacles every day. Bella is diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Xia Gibbs syndrome, and intestinal dysmotility, to name a few. She has had numerous surgeries, and lives daily with a trach, ostomy, central line, and gtube. Despite all of her physical and medical challenges, she continues to thrive and live life to the fullest.

Where do you come in?! Her current van has seen its last days as the alternator broke this week. Bella is also getting older and requires more space than the current van has to offer. Bella and Marlene rely on this van to get to and from medical appointments weekly. She also needs this van to get to and from school as she does not have a nurse, and because of this, they do not allow her to ride on school transportation. We need your help to keep Bella rolling and exploring the world around her. A new wheelchair accessible van costs over $50,000. This is vital to her well-being.

Bella's happiness truly comes from being out and about. You've all seen her at camps, school events, trips, family gatherings, and so much more. Bella's journey is made possible by her ability to get around, thanks to the wheelchair-accessible van she and her mom, Marlene, rely on every day. Marlene is Bella's full-time caretaker, teacher, nurse, and biggest cheerleader. She makes every moment and memory count for Bella by filling her days with activities- now we need to help her get a van so she can continue to do so!
