Support James & Belle in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
My daughter, Belle, bought her first home not long out of college and had only been there for a short 18 months before a very fast-moving and hot electrical-related fire hit it in the early morning hours of March 6th.

The joy and pride that came with hours and hours of DIY work that go into a first home are now only bittersweet memories.

So many friends, co-workers, family members, companies and friends-of-friends have reached out and want to help Belle and James (and her overnight guest Sadie) in any way they can. James and Belle hear you and appreciate your warm gestures. It’s helped so much.
We are all humbled by the outpouring of support during this challenging time of transition.

The good news is there was liability and personal contents insurance coverage on the home. They are not without food, shelter, and their basic needs are being met. The home will likely be a total loss claim, though; as such, the rebuilding timelines and displacement they will have for many months will be a challenge, but thank goodness for the choices in insurance coverage that were made.

It is the time, the searching, and the sense of loss that is paramount right now…and so many people are yearning to help.  We understand that this is something that if anyone wants to “give a little,” this is a method that they will accept the help and good wishes through.

TIME, SEARCHING, CARE: Help them find the man on his way to the gym that pulled over, banged on the door, and woke them from sleep as the home burned (the outside opposite the bedrooms was aflame, but the smoke detectors still had not gone off). Let’s buy that man a beer, a boba tea, a burger dinner…truly whatever he likes. This man’s identity has been a mystery so far. #hero

Let’s support the community firemen and first responders with a “thank you.”

Let’s see about getting Belle, James, & Sadie some spirit, body, and mind treatments – things that insurance won’t cover. A few relaxing massages at the salon, time in peace on a date night, a gift of funds to buy a healing book for them—perhaps a comedy show. Easy make-order food options, a coffee to get through the extra paperwork, etc.

That would be a truly heartfelt, spirit-restoring gift to them. if you want to offer financial support for these things, this is where they will accept it. Again, we appreciate the love and support from EVERYONE.

Much love,
Jenny
