Support BeLoved Asheville's Hurricane Relief Efforts

On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene ripped through Asheville, NC, and turned the area into a post-apocalyptic landscape. During the storm, 230 lives were lost and over 126,000 homes were destroyed. The damage estimates are at $53 billion, the largest in state history. Many families were left without housing and jobs, as many businesses in the area will not be reopening.

While large, well-resourced organizations like the American Red Cross tend to see a surge in donations after a crisis, we believe it's also important to support local groups led by those most directly affected by a disaster, with the deep knowledge and relationships to get help where it’s most needed.

Eric Decker Homes, based in Marietta, GA, is partnering with BeLoved Asheville, a non-profit organization in Asheville, NC. With our support, BeLoved Asheville can continue providing essentials and shelter to those affected by Hurricane Helene, while plotting the course for ongoing cleanup, long-term housing solutions, and inclusive growth within their community.
