Support Ben Hoffman's Fight Against Brain Tumor

Ben Hoffman has had some challenges in his 12 yrs of life, but nothing will compare to the biggest one set before him now. 2 weeks ago his family was given the devastating news that he has a brain tumor. He was quickly moved to CHOP where the biopsy revealed it is a pineal tumor. He has a long road ahead with Chemotherapy and Radiation while still mapping out other treatments. Ben’s family has significant ties to Matawan Aberdeen. Ben attends Matawan Aberdeen Middle School. His mom, Melissa, is a teacher at Cambridge Park. His brother Ethan is at Matawan High School and his little sister is in kindergarten at Cliffwood Elementary. Ben has also attended Cambridge Park, Strathmore Elementary and Lloyd Rd School. To say this family is “ALL IN” Matawan is an understatement! Now is the time for the community and friends and family to show their love and support back. The Hoffman family will need our support as they go through this scary journey. His parents will need to travel back and forth from Matawan to CHOP to care for Ben, while also caring for Ethan and Rebecca back at home. Any amount will help with travel, gas, food, and all the other daily, weekly and monthly expenses that will start to pile up.
