Support Ben Koina after Machinery Accident

On Monday 28th August, my youngest brother Ben ‘pig’ Koina was involved in a machinery accident whilst working. Tragically Benny lost his entire right arm as a result of this. Ben still has multiple surgeries and quite a long road of rehabilitation to undergo.

This accident was extremely serious and is life changing, anyone who knows Ben knows how much he loves the outdoors. Whenever he wasn’t working as a mobile plant operator he was always out off-road-ing, fishing, motorbike riding, jet skiing the list goes on, everything he loved is going to be taken away from him for a very long time.

Ben’s road to recovery is going to be extensive with his foreseeable future spent at John Hunter Hospital healing and undergoing therapies to help assist him eventually get on with his life.

This is obviously a great financial strain as without question my parents Greg and Trish have dropped everything to be by Ben’s side.
