Support Ben Phillips & Lola after fire took everything.

Hi, we are the team at Toby Carvery Bishopstoke and we are fundraising for Shift Supervisor Ben Phillips, not only a coworker but a dear friend and member of our Toby family, who lived on site during the devastating fire that took place just days after Christmas on the early hours of the morning on Sunday 29th December.

Waking up to a smoke filled room, Ben quickly got himself and his cat, Lola, out of the building and stood outside to watch in horror as the flames quickly grew and spread across the entire roof. After three and a half hours of the Eastleigh Fire Department tackling the blaze, the building that was not only his place of work but the place he called home was unrecognisable.

Due to the fire, the roof collapsing and the water damage, Ben lost all of his life’s belongings, surviving with just his beloved Lola, phone, wallet and the clothes on his back.

The funds raised will be used to help Ben restart and begin to build his life again from the ground up, to support him in any means possible.
