Support Benavente Families After Devastating Loss

We are deeply saddened to announce that the Melendez and Benavente families have suffered a horrible tragedy. On May 26, 2023, Andrew Benavente, 35, his son Andrew Jr. (“AJ”), 13, and his daughter Madelyn, 6, died in an automobile accident. Digna Melendez-Benavente, Andrew’s wife and the loving mother of AJ and Madelyn, was not with them at the time. Needless to say, Digna, and the entire Melendez and Benavente families are left completely devastated by this horrible loss. The loss of Andrew, Andrew “AJ” Jr., and Madelyn Benavente has deeply impacted the family, friends, and the community as a whole.

This GoFundMe campaign was started to provide financial support to help Digna, and the Benavente and Melendez families, with the overwhelming expenses stemming from this tragedy. The funds are desperately needed to cover funeral costs, medical bills, and other immediate expenses.

Digna Melendez-Benavente is now faced with the overwhelming task of having to say goodbye to her beloved husband and two children. As a grieving mother and widow, she will need all the support and assistance we can offer.
