Support Benjamin's Heart Recovery Journey

On May 10th 2024, Benjamin Lane (34 years old) suffered a massive heart attack. Thankfully, his Father was home at the time and was able to call 911 within minutes. Also was able to remove his daughter (8 years old) from the scene.The EMTs were quick to arrive and worked on Benjamin for 15 minutes before taking him to Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. Once he was stable, his family was told that Ben had 100% blockage in one of his main arteries. Emergency surgery was performed, with three stents being placed. We were notified today (5/12/24) of a new clot in his chest after performing a scan.

Waterbury Hospital was designated a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care Services. This distinction recognized the hospital for expertise in cardiac care and the efficient delivery of high quality cardiology services. Ben is receiving the best care available and is staying in their icu/cvu. With this being said he will be out of work and the medical bills are adding up. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We never expected a 34 year old to be going through this and we are all shocked and devastated. If anyone can help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated,every penny helps.
