Support Ben Wuest's Medical Expenses

On their way to the cabin after Christmas, Ben, Sam, Brandon, and Jacob were in a head-on collision with another vehicle. Brandon, Ben and Jacob were airlifted to hospitals in the Twin Cities while Sam was taken by ambulance to the closest hospital. As hard as it is to fathom, Brandon passed away from injuries sustained in the crash. This accident has been incredibly devastating for so many people in so many ways. We are thankful that Sam and Jacob are now at home recovering.
 
Ben is also at home after surgery and still has a long road to recovery from a broken femur ball joint. Thankfully Ben does have health insurance, but most of his immediate care was out-of-network. Ben is a self-employed artist and worked at a brewery part-time. He will be unable to walk and therefore be out of work for about 4-6 months. While he is eligible for medical assistance, he does not have paid leave or time off and the out-of-pocket costs will exceed six figures. Expert care in his recovery is crucial to Ben regaining full mobility and strength to get back to the work and community he loves.

- rent/cost of living while out of work
- physical and occupational therapy
- mental health therapy
