Support Ben's Memorial Bench Project

Raising money in remembrance of Ben Pargin; “A Bench for Ben”. Happy heavenly birthday sweet Ben.

Hi, my name is Emily and I was lucky enough to be Ben's older sister for the 31 years he was on this Earth. Ben was so awesome. He loved art, music, the lake, and his friends and family. On July 10, 2012, Ben was taken from us after a jet ski accident on Lake Travis. He was taken too soon. Those of you who knew him, loved him. His smile was contagious. His loss leaves a huge hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

Ben now has 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Rylie (10), Reagan (8) and Rex (6). My heart yearns for them to know him. We do our best to tell his funny stories, remember his kindness, and share his art.

My parents live in a neighborhood called Briarcliff, which is a lakeside community of Lake Travis, the lake Ben died on. Ben LOVED the lake and he so loved hosting friends at "The Barge", our family houseboat. Ben will have celebrated his 43rd Birthday on May 22 of this year. He has been gone for almost 12 years.

We are raising money to purchase a park bench in his honor, for his birthday, which will be placed on the Briarcliff greenbelt trail behind my Parent's home. His spirit lives on, on Lake Travis. Briarcliff is an extension of that. We hope you will consider helping us create a place for people to rest, reflect and remember.
