Support Beto Tello and Family

Our friend and coworker Beto was mountain biking at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah when he crashed coming off a jump. He fractured his right femur and left clavicle and received a mild concussion from the impact. Beto was alert and responding to the doctors at that point.
The next day complication arose as he stared seizing. His seizures lasted over three hours and they eventually had to place a breathing tube so that they could get aggressive enough with the anti-seizure medication to stop them
The seizures were a result of fat from his femur going to his brain. The condition is called fat emboli syndrome and is extremely rare in these circumstances.
He is currently in ICU and has a long road of recovery ahead of him. His family is keeping optimistic and caring for him around the clock. His wife spends her time at the hospital coordinating Beto’s care, she is also taking care of their young son, and are expecting their second child this summer. Beto works two full time jobs as a veterinary technician at VCA Willow Creek Pet Center and Powder Paws Veterinary Clinic.
Please donate and help support Beto and his family.
