We're thrilled to announce Bharathi Academy's 30th anniversary, marking a long journey of dedication to promoting Tamil language and culture! We're immensely proud of the impact we've made within the Tamil diaspora community, both locally in Victoria and globally through our online platform.

Established in 1994, we've become a cornerstone for Tamil language proficiency and cultural preservation, with five campuses in Melbourne and a strong online presence serving nearly 1000 students and employing 80 staff members. We believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our curriculum, enriched by technology and delivered by well-trained educators, begins at the age of 3 and continues through to Year 11, preparing students for VCE. Our online Tamil classes have also garnered global recognition, catering to both academic and spoken Tamil learners of all ages.

But our impact extends beyond the classroom. Through drama, sports meets, cultural celebrations and innovative initiatives like our pioneering Tamil video series for children, titled "Paapaa Bharathi," we've strived to create a vibrant and inclusive community where every student can thrive and embrace their Tamil heritage with pride.

As we embark on our next chapter, we're aiming high and our goal for this special occasion is to raise $30,000 which will directly contribute to upskilling our dedicated staff members, and revamping our school’s resources for years to come.
