Support Big Chris's Memorial and Family

Sitting here trying to make this post I have erased and started over four times. How do I sum up this horrible loss into one paragraph? How do I put a number on his value in this life? Well i have to try so here goes...

Big Chris had a heart of gold. He loved everybody. We couldn't go anywhere without him knowing at least one person. He didn't care if you were black white purple or blue. Broke, by or rich. He would give the shirt off his back if it would help somebody that needed it.
I was recently in a car accident. That man borrowed a car, while babysitting, and drove 2 hours, deep into Montgomery county, to take my bumper off for me so my vehicle was drivable. He called around and found me a brand new bumper. After I picked it up he drove back out to me with 2 more people and they put the new one on. The frame was bent and it didn't fit. All 3 of them held it in place and used big zip ties to hold it on there. He came through for his.

The one person he loved more than anyone is our son. That was his boy. He has his daddy's heart of gold, attitude, smile, smart a** mouth, and sense of humor. Big Chris did not leave this world without a legacy. He will live on through his boy. Our sweet boy.

It is hard to put a number on his worth. I just kept looking at the dollar sign. My third try I left it at that. His cremation is $2,000. His family covered the cost of their urns, however there are a couple members that were left out. Not on purpose we are just working on a budget. His passing was unexpected.

It will cost $150 for the funeral home to fill the necklaces with his ashes. What is left will be separated 50/50 and go to myself and his father. One of his best memories was fishing with his dad so he wanted him to go on one last fishing trip and bring his boy to scatter his ashes on the lake. As for me I want to keep him with me as long as possible. I'm not ready to let him go. When the time is right and it is the right time and place I will know and I will release him.
*****Paid*****

To have a viewing before cremation is $500. This is a time sensitive situation since he won't be embalmed. The longer we wait the less of a chance we will have to do this. However this is is not a necessity.
*****We opted out of this*****

Blood is not our only family. Despite how the saying goes, you can choose your family. And he did just that. He had blood that were there for him, but he could be his raw authentic self with his friends. I plan to make a memorial video and pay for his friends to eat. I figure it would be close to 20 people that show up and we plan to go to a buffet. We all know he was big called big boy for a reason lol. He used to make it a personal challenge to bring his people and shut down a buffet, or get kicked out trying! Depending on what we raise will determine if we are going to somewhere like little Caesars, or Golden corral. This can be anywhere from $300-$600. I would like to do the same for his family.

As for our son he has a college savings account set up already, but anything extra will go into his account. If you prefer to not use go fund me we can also take cashapp, chime, or Venmo. I will keep record of any contributions through the third party apps and what it was used for. Message me on Facebook if you choose to go that route and I will send you the information.

All donations are appreciated even if you only have $1. It gives you the option to donate anonymously if you prefer. If you think you have nothing that simply isn't true. You have memories. Please post your stories on his memorial page. Don't feel like your story is insignificant because it is not. I want to read every single one of them. If you have photos or are having a difficult time please reach out to me on Facebook messenger. I don't care what time. I can't sleep much anymore.

The link to his memorial page is jon-jameton.forevermissed.com I have not completed the tribute though. We have all suffered a significant loss. Life just won't be the same without him.
